This part of the park exists to make you feel like you have stepped inside the stories, not just watched them. Fantasyland is especially important because it holds some of Disneyland’s classic dark rides, and Peter Pan’s Flight is one of the biggest draws, with a line that often runs long enough to make the wait part of the decision. If you are using the app, check the live times first, and only do Peter Pan if it is under 60 minutes unless you want to pay for Premier Access. While you are in Fantasyland, let Melek take in Le Carrousel de Lancelot, and if you pass Snow White, look for the Evil Queen above the queue and the Poison Apple at the entrance, because those little details are easy to miss when you are hurrying. Then save Discoveryland for later in the day or evening, when the crowds ease and Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast, Star Tours, or Autopia may drop into a better range. That way, you keep the day moving, avoid the worst lines, and still get one calm ride, one classic story ride, and one more active adventure.
